Obituary

Adam Ingram of 59 Marguerite Ave.,Monessen died Sunday,Sept.23,1984, at 7:51 p.m. in McKeesport Hospital,McKeesport,Pa. He was 64. Mr.Ingram was born Sept.5,1920 in Rockingham.N.C.,a son of Leroy Ingram who died July 1,1973 and Nevoida Covington Ingram Robinson,who died Nov.27,1976. He was a retired employee of Mon Valley Hospital Inc.,Carroll Twp. A lifelong resident of Monessen,Mr.Ingram was a Baptist by faith and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church,Monessen and Monessen Elks Lodge. Surviving are his former wife,Louise Ingram of Landover,Md,three daughters,Alma Withrow of Alexandria,Va.,Leanna Odessa Ingram of Aliquippa and Myke Yolanda Ingram of Landover,Md.,two brothers,Odell Ingram and Leroy IngramJr.both of Monessen,two sisters,Leana Ingram and Mrs. Harry (Vivian) Holmes,both of Monessen,two aunts,Mrs.Hayzester Littles and Catherine Littles,both of New York City,N.Y.,a devoted friend,Geraldine Allen of Monessen,five grandchildren,and a host of neices,nephews and cousins. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 7 tp 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home,645 McMahon Ave.,Monessen. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilbur Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
