Jane B. Igoe,88,formerly of Belle Vernon,died Thursday,July 26,1979,in Centre (County) Community Hospital. Born Dec. 24,1890 in Forest City,she recently resided in Valley View Haven,Bellevue. She was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Elizabeth Stratford Waite. She also was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Belle Vernon and a former member of the Eastern Star,Belle Vernon Chapter. She was preceded in death by her husband, William,who died Aug. 16,1976. Survivors are two sons, William D. Igoe of Mansfield and John W. Igoe of Monroeville, two daughters, Mrs. J. Wallace (Beth) Miller of Edinboro and Mrs. E.P. (Lee) Bruce of State College; a sister, Mrs. George (Daisy) Gooding of Canton, Ohio;12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.m. at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Services will be held at the funeral home Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Fred G. Gratuk of the United Presbyterian Church,Fayette City, officiating. Intemrent will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
