Elizabeth Hixson,74,of Pricedale,died Friday,Aug. 8,1997,at 2:30 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Oct. 22,1922,in Pricedale,a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Fekula Trembach. She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon. She resided in Pricedale her entire life. She worked at the former Pricedale Company store,the former Agnes Shop in Monessen, and most recently she worked for 17 years at Hills Departmet store,retiring in 1984.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law,Larry and Pamela Hixson of Pricedale;two sisters,Ann Milosovich of Follensbee,W.Va.,and Olga Trembach of Waynesburg;and two grandchildren,Karen and Larry Hixson. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by three brothers,Harry,Andrew and Martin Trembach. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Kluchko,pastor of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will abe in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
