Obituary

Lloyd R. Haffner, 74, of 146 South Michigan Ave., No. 105, Pasadena, Calif., died Monday, Jan. 15,1996, in Pasadena. He was born in Iowa Oct. 6, 1921, a son of the late Joseph and Pearl Messer Haffher. Mr. Haffner was Catholic by faith. He was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion. He had been a property manager. A veteran of World War II, he had served in the Navy.  Surviving are his wife, Genevieve Reed Haffner; one son, Lloyd R. Haffner Jr. of Long Beach, Calif.; and three sisters, Donna, Marilyn and Phyllis. There will be no public visitation. Private committal services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m.in the chapel of Belle Vernon Cemetery with the Rev.Thomas Federline of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church officiating. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. of Belle Vernon is in charge of the arrangements.
