Services were held today;Wednesday;Nov.1;1995;for Louis P.Hegedus;72;of 426 Perry Ave.;Belle Vernon (Fairhope);who died Monday;Oct.30;1995;at 8:13 a.m.in the Integrated Health Services of Mountainview;Greensburg. Mr.Hegedus was born Sept.16;1922;in Arnold City;a son of the late Louis and Susan Garygutch Hegedus. He retired from the former Lee-Norse Company in North Charleroi where he completed 43 years of service in the structural layout department. A lifelong resident of Fairhope;Mr.Hegedus was a Presbyterian by faith. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II;having attained the rank of sergeant first class. Mr.Hegedus was also a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and the former Belle Vernon area Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No.3557 in Fairhope. Surviving are his wife;Kathryn Fidnarik Hegedus;a son and daughter-in-law;Louis John and Bonnie Hegedus of Chambersburg;a daughter;Mrs.John (Kathleen) Zadrozny of Belle Vernon;a granddaughter;Amy Hegedus;and a sister;Henrietta Jackson. In addition to his parents;he was also preceded in death by a sister;Margaret Calderbank;and by his paternal grandfather;Louis Hegedus;who raised him. Burial was in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;handled arrangements.
