Lizzie A. Harris;93;of 103 Grata Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;June 4;1994;in Humbert Lane Health Care Center;Washington;Pa. She was born Dec.13;1899;in Roxboro;N.C.;a daughter of the late Benjamin and Hattie Johnson. Mrs. Harris had resided in Arnold City;Belle Vernon;the past 67 years. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Belle Vernon where she served on the Missionary Circle;Nurses Board and Pastor’s Aide. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Lucious Harris. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law;Treadford and Dorcas Harris of Belle Vernon;with whom she made her home;and Scodell Harris of Bronx;N.Y.;two brothers;Frank Johnson and Jack Johnson;both of North Carolina;nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Antioch Baptist Church;Henry Street;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Clifford Carter officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home;Monessen;is in charge of arrangements.
