June M.Hawk;73;of Perryopolis;died Saturday;Jan.29;1994;at 8:25 p.m.in Uniontown Hospital. She was born June 16;1920;in Fairhope;a daughter of the late John and Blanche Mugrage Ashley. Mrs.Hawk was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Perryopolis. A resident of Perryopolis the past five years;she had spent most of her life in the Belle Vernon area. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by two sisters;Ruth Veach;who died April 3;1991;and Lillian Evans. She is survived by her husband;R.Lester Hawk. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Thomas Greener;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Perryopolis;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
