Maria Horsthemke, 97,formerly of Monessen,died Saturday, Aug. 8,1992,in Windsong Nursing Home, Akron, Ohio. She was a former member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Monessen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernhard Horsthemke; one brother, William Stannick and one sister, Elizabeth Schulte. Survivors include one daughter, Eleanore Guckleberger of Akron, Ohio,four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc.,Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald Schlock officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A. Billick Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
