McMahon Ave ; Monessen died
Saturday; March 14; 1992; in
Mon Valley Hospital; following a
lingering illness.
He was born Feb 13; 1915; in
Terre Haute; Ind ; a son of the
late George and Hazel Hill.
Mr. Hill was employed at
Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel; from
where he retired. He was also a
tax accountant.
He was a very active member
of Okay Lodge 697 of Monessen.
Mr Hill is survived by his
wife ; Cornelia Hill; one
daughter ; Mrs Samuel
(Clarice) Crawley of San Diego;
Calif.; two brothers; George Hill
of Monessen and Bruce Hill of
Cleveland; Ohio; one sister;
Mrs Frank (Doris) Lawson of
Donora; and two grandchildren;
Leah Smith of Arlington; Va ;
and Scott Crawley of San Diego;
Calif.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by two
brothers ; Eugene and
Crawford; and three sisters;
Mary Smith; Alice Riddick and
Hazel Garland.
Friends will be received at the
Beverly C. Draper Funeral
Home; 608 Sixth St; Monessen;
Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.Robert Holmes officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
