Bessie Mae Hoffman;88;of Belle Vernon R.D.3;died at Parish House Personal Care Home in Perryopolis on Sunday;Dec.10;1989. She was born in Washington Township on July 14;1901;a daughter of the late Oliver and Hannah Daugherty Hileman. Mrs.Hoffman was a member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church;Belle Vernon R.D.3;the Rostraver Grange 919;the Harmony Ladies Auxiliary;and the Fayette City Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents;whe was preceded in death by her husband;Clarence Hoffman on Feb.1;1970. She is survived by three sons;Clarence Hoffman Jr.of Belle Vernon R.D.3;David W.Hoffman of Belle Vernon R.D.1 and Ray B.Hoffman of Belle Vernon R.D.3;three daughters;Mrs.Ann Novak Horner of Fayette City;Mr.Wallace (Mae) Sadosky of Coal Center R.D.1;and Mrs.George (Virginia) Andrako of Charleroi R.D.2;a sister;Mrs.Edna Breckenridge of Fayette City;18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the James C.Stump Funeral Home Inc.;Sweeney Plan;Rostraver Township;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 p.m.with Rev.John C.Park officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
