David Alva (Butch) Hall,42,of Brownsville,died Friday,June 2,1989,at 10 p.m. He was born Dec. 15,1946,in Steubenville,Ohio,a son of the late James and Evelyn Linderman Hall. He was a member of UMWA Local 6330 and ws formerly employed at Gateway Mines. He was a member of the T.G.I.F. Bowling League. Survivors include his wife,Leah C. Weitz Hall;one son,David Hall Jr.,at home;two daughters,Melinda M. Henry and Mary P. Hall,both of Ohio;one granddaughter;one brother, James A. Hall of Brownsville;three sisters,Dorla Brooks Tringes and Blanche Carr,both of Brownsville and Nancy Eicher of Sharon;and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the Andrew J. Skirpan Funeral Home,135 Park St.,Browsville. Graveside memorial services will be held in the Belle Vernon Cemetery on Monday June 12 at 11 a.m. for family and friends with Rev. Dr. Thomas St. Clair of the Belle Vernon Methodist Church officiating. The Andrew J. Skirpan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
