Born in Fairhope;Oct.24;1906;he was a son of the late Thomas and Jane Catherine Staff hamilton. Mr.Hamilton was a member of the former Wesleyan Church of Donora and attended the Emanuel Baptist Church in Donora. A resident of Donora for the past 10 years;Mr.Hamilton was a former resident of Kearny;N.J. He retired 13 years ago from P.Balentine and Sons of Newark;N.J. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a sister;Edith Smock;on Jan.25;1985. Surviving are his wife Elsie Hamilton;his son and daughter-in-law Thomas D.and Geraldine Hamilton of Hollywood.Fla.;two brothers;Boyd Hamilton of Belle Vernon and Charles Hamilton of Fayettesville;N.C.;five sisters;Mrs.Grace Poole of Canonsburg;Mrs.Mildred Wahl of Monessen;Mrs.Eunice Williams of Bloomberg;N.J.;Mrs.Della Koskoski of Donora and Norma Lewis of Monessen;one granddaughter;Laura J.Hamilton of Hollywood;Fla.;and three grandsons and seven great-grandchildren. Friends are being received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held Monday;April 8;at 11 a.m. with Rev.Dennis Zirkle;pastor of Emanuel Baptist Church;Donora;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
