Carlisle L Grant, 73, of Henry Street, Belle Vernon, died Thursday, Dec. 2,1999, in Mon Valley Hospital, He was bom Feb. 27, 1926, in Belle Vernon, a son of the late Harry ond Ado Harvey Grant. Mr. Grant was a lifelong Belle Vernon resident, and a member of the Belle Yemen American Legion Post 659. He retired from the Monessen plant of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp., where he worked as an engineer for the Monessen SW Railroad. He was o U>5> Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Virginia Nye Grant; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lunnnc M. and Douglas Zun» del of Belle Vernon, and their children, Andrew and Sarah; and Cheryl A- ond Robert M, Smith of Belle Veraan, and their daughter, Stephanie; and a brother, Animus Grant of Donora. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Rusnak; and four brothers, Bobby, Tommy, George, and Gerald Grant. Friends will be received in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.. a Golden Rule Funeral Home, on Friday from 2 lo 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard L. Klein, pnstor of the ReJiobolh Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vcrnon Cemetery.
