Obituary

Constance Curnow Greer, 79, of Kissimmee, Fla., formerly of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, in the Veranda Nursing Home, Orlando Fla. Born April 11, 1919, in Rostraver Township, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mona Sheldon Rousseau. Mrs. Greer resided in Florida until 1982 and was a member of First United Methodist Church of St.Cloud. She retired in 1981 after 28 years as a teacher in the Belle Vernon Area School District. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by one son,Joseph Curnow. Surviving are her husband,Joseph W.Greer,two sons,John L.Curnow of Rostraver Township and William H.Curnow of West Newton,two stepsons,David Greer of Uniontown and Joseph W.Greer Jr.of Coal Center,two sisters,Frances Lacey of Elizabeth and Mona Spegele of Cape May Point,N.J.,seven grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev. Charles K.Sowden officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
