Margaret (Jones) Gregor, 92,of Fayette City R.D.1 (Brownstown),died Saturday, Feb. 7,1998, in Mon Valley Hospital,after a lengthy illness. She was born in Federal,Pa.,on Dec. 18,1905,a daughter of the late John and Sarah Yardley Jones. Mrs. Gregor was a member of the Fayette City Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law,Laverne and Melrose Stewart and Shirley and Bert Lee Osborne,all of Fayette City R.D.; a sister, Florence Issi of Mapleview,Charleroi; a brother, Russell Jones of Fayette City R.D.1; five grandchildren,six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday and will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Eley/Mccrory Funeral Home, 334 Main St.,Fayette City and Tuesday until 11 a.m.,the hour of service,with the Rev. James Moffitt of the Fayette City Christian & Missionary Alliance Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Eley/McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
