William Gosney;67;of Fallowfield Township;died Friday;Feb.16;1996;in Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born March 2;1928. Mr.Gosney was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Charleroi;the F&AM Lodge 615 of Charleroi and American Legion Post 377 of California. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War;having served in the U.S.Army. Mr.Gosney retired from Corning Glass;Charleroi. Surviving are his wife;Mary Marran Gosney;two brothers;Theodore Woods of Monongahela and John Woods of Philadelphia;one stepson;Alex J.Marran of Ellsworth;three stepdaughters;Linda Kvortek;Donna Collins and Gina Latta;all of Bentleyville;and 10 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife;Freda Balieu Gosney. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Leonard M.Pavlic Funeral Homes Inc.;235 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m.;with the Rev.Francis Blair officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon.
