Thomas W. Goins; 90; of
Fayette City R.D. 1; died Tuesday;Nov.
14;1989; at 6 a.m.; in Mon Valley
Hospital.
He was born April 21; 1899; in
Georgia; a son of the late Henry
and Adline Goins.
Mr. Goins was retired from
USX; Clairton Mill. He was a
resident of the Fayette City area
for the past 20 years; formerly
residing in the Monessen and
Greenhill areas. He was a
former member of the Union
Baptist Church; Monessen;
where he served as a Deacon for
40 years. Currently; he was a
member of the Gate of Heaven
Church of God in Christ;
Monessen.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by his
wife; Flora Goins in 1984 and a
son; Dessie Goins in 1975.
He is survived by one brother;
James Goins of Hollywood;
Fla.; one sister; Sula Goins of
Philadelphia; many nieces;
nephews and friends; and
Rozalind Butler of Belle Vernon.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the
William R. Taylor Funeral
Home; 645 McMahon Ave.;
Monessen. He will lie in stale on
Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the
Gate of Heaven Church; Reed
Avenue; Monessen;where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.with Elder Bishop J.E.Bass;officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
