Alice G.Gadd,93,of the Baptist Home,Castle Shannon,died Wednesday,March 8,1989,at 3:45 p.m. She was born in Minnesota on Nov.17,1895, a daughter of the late George and Anna Mae Jacobs Hammond. Mrs. Gadd had been a member of the Monessen Baptist Church and a resident of Belle Vernon for many years. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Joseph Gadd,in 1968 and one son,Joseph Lawry Gadd Jr.,in 1970. She is survived by one daughter-in-law,Lydia Gadd of Mount Lebanon;two granddaughters,Deborah Andolina and Amy Jo Bonasorte,both of Bethal Park;and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home,Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m.when funeral services will be held in the funeral home with Dr.Donald A.Schnarr of the First Baptist Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangemetns.
