He was born Jan. 24;1910; in Belle
Vernon; a son of the late James E.
and Samantha Lockley.
He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army; serving during World War II. He
was decorated with three Bronze
Stars; a good conduct medal; a
distinguished unit badge; an
American Campaign Medal; a
European-African Medal; Eastern
Campaign Medal and a Victory
Medal.
He was a member of the Pleasant
Green A.M.E. Church and the
James E. Zundell American Legion
Post #446 of Mt. Pleasant.
In addition to his parents; he was
precedced in death by one brother;
Kenneth A. Goe.
Survivors include his wife; Yvonne
Noreen Goe; one daughter; Wanda
Lorraine Perry of Pittsburgh; one
sister; Ernestine Bedford of Donora;
and two grandchildren.
Friends will be received Thursday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Pleasant
Green A.M.E. Church; Pricedale;where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.with Rev.Robert L.Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Percy E.Law Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
