Helen Gelotti;74;of 703 Graham Street;Belle Vernon;died Friday;April 22;1988;at 7:50 a.m.at the home of her daughter and son-in-law;Alma and Earl Peters;of Sutersville. Born in Mt.Carmel on June 21;1913;she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Vitovich Choker. Mrs.Gelotti was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Golden Agers;both of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Sam Gelotti;who died Oct.21;1976;a brother;Walter Choker;in 1987;and a sister;Julia Godzak;in 1985. Along with her daughter;Mrs.Earl (Alma) Peters of Sutersville;she is survived by another daughter;Mrs.Norman (Dorothy) Candelore of Elizabeth;three sisters;Mary Davis and Eva Wall;both of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Millie Chisholm of Fairless Hills;four grandchildren and three great-grandsons. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m.in Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 a.m.followed by Mass of Christian Burial from St.Sebastian Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
