James A. Guerra of Coal Center R.D. 1 died Sunday;Nov.30;1986;in
Mon Valley Hospital following a
brief illness. He was 60.
Mr. Guerra was born Sept. 8; 1926;
in Monessen; a son of the late Joseph
and Mary Guerra.
A Mon Valley resident all of his
life; he was a retired supervisor at
the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
Monessen Southwestern Railroad.
Mr. Guerra was a member of St.
Jerome R.C. Church; Charleroi.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of
World War II.
Mr. Guerra was a member of
American Legion Post 659; Belle
Vernon; Moose Lodge 209; Belle Vernon; VFW Post 3557; Belle Vernon;
Monessen Elks Lodge 773; and the
Mon Valley Chapter of the National
Management Association.
Survivors include his wife;
Eugenia Pacy Guerra; one
daughter; Mrs. William
(Michealene) Martin of Long
Branch; two grandchildren; Conine
and Brandi Lyn Martin; both of Long
Branch; and three brothers;
Michael and Louis Guerra; both of
Monessen; and Joseph V. Guerra of
Long Branch.
Friends will be received Monday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rhome
Funeral Home; Inc.; 1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday;Dec.3;at 10 a.m.in St.Jerome R.C.Church;Charleroi. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.in the funeral home. The Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
