Matushka Mary Youshock Geeza of North Hollywood;Calif.;formerly of the Belle Vernon area;died Tuesday;April 19;1983;at 2:30 a.m.in North Hollywood. She was 83. Mrs.Geeza was born Nov.8;1899;in Pennsylvania;a daughter of the late Michael and Justina Chehorniak Youshock. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;the Very Rev.Theodore Geeza;in 1947. Survivors include two daughters;Nadia Geletka of Warren;Ohio and Vera Vag of North Hollywood;three sons;the Right Rev.Boris Geeza;O.C.A.;Bishop of Chicago;Ralph Geeza of Upper Mont Clair;N.J.;and Eugene Geeza of Canoga Park;Calif.;one brother;David Youshock of Florida;17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs.Geeza had been a resident of the state of California for the past 20 years. She was a former member of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church;Charleroi. Friends will be received Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m.at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.with the Right Rev.Boris Geeza;O.C.A.Bishop of Chicago officiating with the assistance of Rev.John Kluchko;pastor of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
