10:35 a.m. in Mon Valley
Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was 82.
Mrs. Galla was born Sept.
13; 1898; in Passaic; N.J.; a
daughter of the late Joseph
and Anna Yensick Kolesar;
She was a member of the
Holy Spirit RC Church;
Fayette City.
Mrs. Galla was preceded in
death by her husband; John J.
Galla; on Aug. 2;1979; and by
two sons; Paul Galla; in 1951;
and Joseph Galla; in 1968.
Survivors include four
sons; Andrew Galla of Perryopolis;John and George
Galla; both of Monessen; and
Eugene Galla; of Grindstone;
two daughters; Mrs; Edward
(Anna) Ziemba of Alexandria;
Va.; and Mrs. John
(Helen) Patrick of
Monessen; a sister; Mrs.
Elizabeth Komisak of
Grapeville; Pa.; 23 grandchildren;
and 21 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at
the Howard W. McCrory
Funeral Home; Fayette City;
Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and
Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m.
and 7 to 9 p.m. Church Prayer Services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m.in the funeral home. Rosary Prayers will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m.in the funeral home. A Prayer Service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 9:30 a.m.followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in Holy Spirit R.C.Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Thomas G.Rinn;pastor;as celebrant. Burail will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
