Mrs.Mildred Popp Green;79;of R.D.1 Belle Vernon (Iron City Hill) died at 7 a.m.Monday;July 21;1980;at her home. She was born July 12;1901;in Rostraver Twp.;daughter of Lydia Brown and John Popp. She was a member of the Pricedale Union Church. Preceding her in death was her husband;Clyde Green;in 1972. Surviving are one daughter;Mrs.Thomas (Doris) Benicky of Iron City Hill;two sons;Clyde W.Green of Monessen and William Green of Iron City Hill;five grandchildren and one great-grandchild;two brothers;Raymond Popp of New Eagle and Walter Popp of Iron City Hill;three sisters;Mrs.Lila Slavina of Monessen;Mrs.Anna Elder of Iron City Hill and Mrs.Devona Hornack of Iron City Hill. Four nieces and nephews also survive. Friends are being received from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday in the Robert Billick Funeral Home;Grand Blvd.;Monessen. Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesdy at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Howard Rodabaugh;pastor of Pricedale Union Church;officiating;assisted by the Rev.Maybell Johnson.
