Mary Louise Pearce Gido of 23 Martha Ave.;Jeannette;died at 6 a.m Friday;Feb.8;1980;at Jeannette Memorial Hospital. A former Monessen resident;she was 84. She was born in England and had been a Monessen resident most of her life. She had been employed as a telephone operator in the Monessen office for 30 years prior to retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in March of 1970 and also be a daughter;Ruth E.Felgar in 1920. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monessen;Senior Citizens and Golden Age groups of Monessen. Survivors include one daughter;Mrs.Ralph (Virginia) Stone;Belle Vernon;three grandchildren;seven great-grandchildren;and one sister;Mrs.Bertha Peters of Clairton. The family will receive friends at Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen ;on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be Monday in the chapel of the funeral home at 10 a.m.;with the Rev.Robert J.Marks;pastor of Zions Lutheran Church of Harrison City;Pa.;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
