Mickey Gelotti;62;of 643 Graham St.;Belle Vernon;died at 5:45 a.m.Wednesday;Dec.26;1979;in Magee Women’s Hospital;Pittsburgh. The native and life resident of Belle Vernon was born June 12;1917;to the late Anthony and Mary Pulice Gelotti. He was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church in Belle Vernon and was an Air Force veteran of World War II. Mr.Gelotti retired in 1978 from the hot metal department of the Allenport Division of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr.Gelotti leaves his wife;Madeline Matsko Gelotti;a son;Anthony W.of Denver;a daughter;Mrs.Edward (Cheryl) Firoll of Belle Vernon;three brothers;Silvio of Perryopolis and Alex and John of Fayette City;three sisters;Mrs.Jennie DeFazio of Monessen;Mrs.Rose Miccolai of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Margaret Mencarelli of Speers;and four grandchildren. Services will be in St.Sebastian Church Saturday;Dec.29;at 10 a.m.with burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. A wake service will be held at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m.Friday.
