The Rev. Robert Joseph Floyd Sr.,62,of Donora,died Wednesday,Aug. 23,2000,in his home. He was born Oct. 12,1937,in Monessen,a son of the late Lucy and Wilbert Floyd. A graduate of Monessen High School,he was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen. He was a former pastor of Allison Community Baptist Church in Allison. He was retired from Combustion Engineering in Monongahela. He was preceded in death by a sister,Melissa Hill;and one brother,Wilbert (Co Co) Floyd. Survivors include his wife,Loretta J. Floyd of Donora;five daughters,Theresa Larkin of San Antonio,Texas,Veronica Briscoe of New Eagle,Melody Floyd Madison of Pontiac,Mich.,Laurel Womack of Fort Wayne,Ind.,and Angela Ferretti of Monessen; one son,Robert Joseph Floyd Jr. of Donora;three brothers,Francis Floyd of Norfolk,Va.,Thomas H. Floyd and James R. Floyd,both of Monessen;one sister,Mary Fulwood of Silver Spring,Md.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson;and a host of nieces,nephews and friends. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,230 Reed Ave.,Monessen,where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.,with the Rev.
