Robert W.Foulks;77;of Monessen;died Thursday;Nov.13;1997;at 1:42 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. Born April 24;1920;in Webster;he was the son of the late Robert and Lila Popp Foulks. A lifelong resident of Monessen;Mr.Foulks retired Jan.31;1983;from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;where he had worked in the central electric department. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Susan Kossar Foulks on June 13;1990. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law;Dennis Wayne and Judy Foulks;one daughter;Mrs.John (Linda) Gussie of Belle Vernon;two grandsons;John Guzzie of Belle Vernon and Wayne Foulks and his wife Felicia of Monessen;and two great-grandchildren;Linda Susan Foulks and Brian David Foulks. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Stephen D.Yoney Jr.Funeral Home;First Street and Schoonmaker Avenue;Monessen;where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Lisik;pastor of Epiphany of Our Lord Church;Monessen;officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of Belle Vernon Cemetery.
