Obituary

Eugene L.Forbeck,90,formerly of Speer Street,Belle Vernon,died Friday,April 11,1997,at 2:05 a.m. in Westmoreland Manor,Greensburg. Born June 5,1906 in Pittsburgh,he was the son of the late Joseph and Anne Forbeck. Mr.Forbeck was a resident of the Belle Vernon community since 1957. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,and its Holy Name Society. He was a member of Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,Allenport plant,engineering department.Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a,m, in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,with the Rev.John Cindric,V.F.,pastor,and the Rev.E.George Saletrik,parochial vicar,as co-celebrants. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Legion of Mary and Catholic Daughters of the Americas Belle Vernon Court 1522 will recite the Rosary Sunday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026 will conduct services Sunday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. The North Belle Vernon Fire Department will pay respects Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. The family suggests contributions in memory of Mr.Forbeck to Sister Eugenia Forbeck for the Nigerian Mission School. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
