Mary Kutsik Felak, 82, of 630 Speers Ave., Speers Hill, died Sunday, Sept. 25.1994, at 12:48 p.m. in her residence. Mrs. Felak was born April 7, 1912, in Elizabeth, a daughter of the late John and Maria Bence Kutsik. She had resided in Speers the past 52 years. Mrs. Felak was a member of St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church of Monessen and the Altar Guild and ParentsTeachers Council, both of the church. She was also a Sunday School teacher. Surviving is her husband, Charles Felak, with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage on June 15, 1994. Also surviving are three sons. Ramon Felak of Monessen and Thomas and David Felak, both of Aiken, S.C.; a brother, Michael Kutsik of Finleyville, seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Ann Kaylor Polacek and Elizabeth Weaver, and three brothers, John, Charles and George Kutsik, are deceased. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m.in the funeral home,with the Rev.John Horosky,pastor,St.John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church,Monessen,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests contributions in Mrs. Felak's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. A Parastas Service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
