Lillian O.Fox of Uniontown;formerly of the Belle Vernon and Charleroi areas;died Tuesday;Dec.27;1988;at 4:56 a.m.in Uniontown Hospital. She was 89. Mrs.Fox was born April 24;1899;in Swarts;Greene County;a daughter of the late Wesley and Martha Barnes Hays. A member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene;she had worked as a nurses’ aide. In addition to her parents;whe was preceded in death by her husband;Samuel R.Fox;in 1942;and by four brothers and one sister. Survivors include one daughter;Florence Dukstein of Belle Vernon;one grandson;Samuel Sims of Belle Vernon;and two great-granddaughters;Helen and Jeanette. Friends will be received Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m.in the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes;Inc.;825 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m.with the Rev.Tim Eyring;pastor of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene;officiating.
