Obituary

Jack M. Fox of Charleroi R.D.2 died Thursday,May 5,1988,at 3:34 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital.  He was 69. Mr. Fox was born Nov. 29,1918,in Twilight Borough,a son of the late Laurie and Bertrum Carson Fox.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Wayne Fox,in 1957;and by a brother, Harry Fox,in 1964. A lifelong resident of the Twilight and Lover areas,he was a member of Char-Belle Free Methodist Chrruch, Belle Vernon. Mr. Fox retired in 1981as a craneman from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,Allenport plant. Survivors include his wife,Jane Wilkinson Fox; a son, Melvin M. Fox of Charleroi;a daughter,Mrs. Ben (Doris) Aebi of Charleroi;a sister,Mrs. Roy (Madge F.) Alton of Charleroi;six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Monday,May 9,at 11 a.m.with the Rev. Eugene Spear,pastor of Char-Belle Free Methodist Church of Belle Vernon officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
