Salvatore Falbo of 209 Short St.;Belle Vernon;died at his home at 11:04 a.m.on Tuesday;Feb.21;1984. He was 66. Born in Baggaley;Pa.;on Sept.1;1917;he was a son of Giacomina Falbo of Belle Vernon and Ralph Falbo Sr.;who died in 1960. Mr.Falbo was a member of the Smithton congregation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. He had resided in Belle Vernon for the past 55 years. Mr.Falbo was an employee of the former American Window Glass Co.of Belle Vernon. With his wife Wilma Rickert Falbo;he had owned and operated the Broad Avenue Cleaners in Belle Vernon for 12 years. He was preceded in death by sisters Cecelia in 1939 and Mary on Feb.19;1984. In addition to his mother and wife;Mr.Falbo is survived by two brothers;Nick Falbo and Ralph Falbo Jr.;both of Belle Vernon;and a nephew;Larry Falbo;also of Belle Vernon. Friends are being received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held on Thursday;Feb.23;at 11 a.m.with Minister John Huha officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
