A Monessen Sunday School teacher for 35 years;Jennie M.Frye;70;died Thursday;Sept;15;1983 at 11:51 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital following a short illness. Mrs.Frye had resided at 124 Knox Ave.;Monessen. She was born in Charleroi on Feb.14;1904;daughter of the late Henry and Louisa Boni. She had been a Monessen resident for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monessen;where she taught in the Sunday School Nursery for 35 years. She was also a member of the church’s Fellowship Class and the Women’s Society. In addition;she was a member of the Monessen Seniors Citizens and the Ladies Italian Mutual Aid Society. Preceding her in death were her devoted husband;Audley;and a son;Louis;both in 1981 and a sister;Manda Perkins in 1982. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law;Marlene and Ronald Toth of Vestal;N.Y.;two grandchildren;William J.and Lynn M.;both of Vestal;a faithful sister-in-law;Dorothy Glasser of Monessen;three sisters;Mrs.Delores Haines;Mrs.enice Kostolanski and Mrs.George (Lena)Strelick;all of Charleroi. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Boulevard;Monessen;on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and until 1 p.m. Saturday;the time of service;which will be conducted by the Rev.Kenneth J.Peters of the Monessen United Methodist Church.
