A Monessen Sunday School teacher for 35 years;Jennie M.Frye;70;died Thursday;Sept;15;1983 at 11:51 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital following a short illness. Mrs.Frye had resided at 124 Knox Ave.;Monessen. She was born in Charleroi on Feb.14;1904;daughter of the late Henry and Louisa Boni. She had been a Monessen resident for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monessen;where she taught in the Sunday School Nursery for 35 years. She was also a member of the church’s Fellowship Class and the Women’s Society. In addition;she was a member of the Monessen Seniors Citizens and the Ladies Italian Mutual Aid Society. Preceding her in death were her devoted husband;Audley;and a son;Louis;both in 1981 and a sister;Manda Perkins in 1982. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law;Marlene and Ronald Toth of Vestal;N.Y.;two grandchildren;William J.and Lynn M.;both of Vestal;a faithful sister-in-law;Dorothy Glasser of Monessen;three sisters;Mrs.Delores Haines;Mrs.enice Kostolanski and Mrs.George (Lena)Strelick;all of Charleroi. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Boulevard;Monessen;on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and until 1 p.m. Saturday;the time of service;which will be conducted by the Rev.Kenneth J.Peters of the Monessen United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Denver Rhome;funeral director;in charge of arrangements.
