Florence Gail Kennedy Emerick,60,of Fayette City R.D.1,died Monday,Oct. 2,1995,in Canonsburg Hospital following a short illness. Born July 2,1935,in Franklin Township,she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Dudek Kennedy. She was Protestant by faith. Mrs. Emerick was employed as a housekeeping supervisor for Mon Valley Hospital Inc. Surviving are her husband,Theodore Emerick;one son,Robert Emerick of Youngstown,Ohio;one daughter,Donna Darlene Kennedy of Bordman,Ohio; three grandchildren,Patricia Emerick,Daniel Kennedy II and Leslie Ann Kennedy; three brothers, Robert and James Kennedy of Grindstone and Joseph Kennedy of Arnold City;and two sisters, Mary Louise Kennedy of Donora and Harriet McGowan of Naomi,Fayette City. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 tp 9 p.m.and Thursday until 11 a.m. in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor James Moffitt of the Fayette City Christian and Missionary Alliance Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home.
