Obituary

Stephen E. Eversburg, 52, of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, died suddenly Sunday, March 27,1994. He was born July 18, 1941, in North Charleroi, a son of the late Rudolph and Catherine Rade Eversburg. Mr. Eversburg was a veteran of the Vietnam war, serving with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, and VFW Post 3557, Fairhope. Mr. Eversburg was a driver for Mon Valley Transportation Co. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Edward (Jack) Eversburg. Survivors include his wife, Joan Mckenzie Eversburg, five daughters, Sharon Eversburg of Stafford, Va., Karen Davison of Lorton, Va., Kimberly L. Eversburg of Perryopolis, Stacie L. Bergman of Wickhaven and Patricia D.Eversburg at home,two brothers,Francis Herman (Rudy) Eversburg of Fairhope and Robert Eversburg of Virginia,two sisters,Mrs.Joseph )Patty) Valari of Levittown and Mrs.Richard (Kitty) Nash of Arlington,Va.,and nine grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,334 Main St.,Fayette city,and Wednesday until 1 p.m.when a Prayer service will be held in the funeral home,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m.in S.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
