Albert A.Evans;85;of Coal Center R.D.1 and formerly of Rostraver Township;died Monday;March 8;1993;at 2:57 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Dairy Township March 18;1907;a son of the late C.P.and Julia Parsons Evans. Mr.Evans had lived in Coal Center R.D.since 1986. He was a retired truck driver and member of the Teamsters Union. Formerly;he had been employed by Victoria Trucking Co.and the Black Top Paving Company. He is survived by a son;Richard Evans of New Stanton;two daughters;Mrs.Lloyd (Donna) Hite of Coal Center R.D.1 and Mrs.Norman (Dolores) Celaschi of Speers Hill;13 grandchildren;16 great-grandchildren;and two brothers;Frank Evans of New Eagle and Howard Evans of Monessen. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Leona Shepler Evans in 1973;two sons;Charles Evans and Glenn (Chip) Evans;and two grandsons. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Rudy Mayak of the First Baptist Church of Monroeville officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
