John R.Emerick Jr.of Belle Vernon,R.D.4,died Friday,Jan. 23,1987 at 10:50 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Twp.,after a lengthy illness. He was 26. Mr. Emerick was born July 6,1960,in North Charleroi,a son of John R. Emerick Sr. and Darlene Forsythe Emerick,both of whom survive and reside at Belle Vernon,R.D.4. He was a Protestant by faith. Also surviving are three brothers, David,Mark and Brian Emerick,all at home,and one sister, Connie Harrold,also at home. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,all day Sunday,and until 1:30 pm. Monday,the time of services in the funeral home,with the Rev. Jack Elder,pastor of Concord United Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,R.D.4,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
