Elma Emelo of Fayette City R.D.1 (Brownstown) died Tuesday;Aug.14;1984;at 11:55 a.m.in the Uniontown Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 66. Mrs.Emelo was born June 24;1918;in Washington Township;Fayette County;a daughter of the late Samuel and Alice Federer Greenlee.
A retired teacher; she was a member
of the Fayette City United Methodist
Church.
In addition to her parents; Mrs. Emelo
was preceded in death by her husband;
Thomas Emelo; Nov. 11;1966; and by a
son; Frederick Samuel Emelo; Nov. 13;
1946.
Survivors include a son; Thomas
Emelo of Fayette City R D. 1; a
daughter; Kimberly Emelo of
Cleveland; Ohio; a grandson; Thomas
C. Emelo of Fayette City R.D. 1; a
sister; Mrs. Leo (Edith) Glasser of
Charleroi; and several nieces and
nephews.
Friends will be received Wednesday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home; Fayette City;and on Friday;Aug.17 until 11 a.m.at which time services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev.C.E.Stollings;pastor of the Fayette City United Methodist Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
