Joseph M.Danek;75;of Meldon Avenue;Donora;died Thursday;Dec.2;1999. He was born in Donora on Dec.15;1923;a son of the late John and Helen Kopack Danek. Mr.Danek was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish of Donora and was a veteran of World War II. He was a retired steelworker. Survivors include a sister;Stella Benyo of Latrobe;and several nieces and nephews. In adition to his parents;he was preceded in death by four brothers;Anthony;Charles;Stanley and Ted Danek. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today in the PHILIP L.DeRIENZO FUNERAL HOME;782 Thompson Ave.;Donora;with the Rev.David J.Kriss officiating. Interment was held in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
