Keith Lemont Davis Sr.;27;of Monessen;died suddenly in his home Monday;June 7;1999. Mr.Davis was born March 31;1972;in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;a son of Annette Cranford Davis and the late James Delmar Davis. He was Christian by faith and was an avid body builder. He was an all-star football player for Monessen High School and won a full football scholarship to Ohio University;where he attended two years before an injury. Besides his mother;he is survived by his fiancee;Crystal Frost;with whom he made his home;one son;Keith Lemont Jr.of Monessen;four daughters;Sarafina;Kieana;MaKayla and Kyla Davis;all of Monessen;four brothers;James C.(Jimmy) and Aaron L.(Cat) Davis;and Shawn Diggs;all of Monessen;and Percy A.Davis of Charleroi;three sisters;Arlene Davis of Duquesne;Erica (Ree) Davis of Charleroi and Chassity Diggs of Monessen. He is also survived by aunts and uncles;Renie and Francis Merritt of Charleroi;Sara Watkins of Monessen;Mattie Orr Jones of Monessen;Mr.and Mrs.Donald (Carol) Corbin of Chicago;Richard Cranford of Wilkes-Barre;Bruce Davis of Monessen;Greg and Carla Davis of Monessen;and a host of nieces;nephews;cousins and friends. Friends and family will be received Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. in the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen. Thursday;visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m.;the time of service in the Gate of Heaven Church of God and Christ;Reed Avenue;Monessen. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
