James Delia;72;of 408 Westmoreland St.;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;Aug.27;1994;at 12:15 a.m.in Jefferson Hills Nursing Home. He was born Aug.5;1922;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late Joseph and Filomena DeFazio Delia. He was a lifelong member of the Belle Vernon community. He was Catholic by faith. He was a member of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He retired in 1987 as an electrical inspector for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Survivors include one son;Jimmy Delia;one daughter;Mrs.Tony (Debbie) Kosyder of Enon;two brothers;Frank Delia of Belle Vernon;and Joseph Delia of Glassport;one sister;Rose Delia of Belle Vernon;and two grandsons;Andrew Delia and David Kosyder. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by one sister;Mary Zeli. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a blessing service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department will hold services Sunday at 7:15 p.m.in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
