Obituary

James Delia,72,of 408 Westmoreland St.,Belle Vernon,died Saturday,Aug.27,1994,at 12:15 a.m.in Jefferson Hills Nursing Home. He was born Aug.5,1922,in Belle Vernon,a son of the late Joseph and Filomena DeFazio Delia. He was a lifelong member of the Belle Vernon community. He was Catholic by faith. He was a member of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He retired in 1987 as an electrical inspector for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Survivors include one son,Jimmy Delia,one daughter,Mrs.Tony (Debbie) Kosyder of Enon,two brothers,Frank Delia of Belle Vernon,and Joseph Delia of Glassport,one sister,Rose Delia of Belle Vernon,and two grandsons,Andrew Delia and David Kosyder. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by one sister,Mary Zeli. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a blessing service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department will hold services Sunday at 7:15 p.m.in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
