John S.Drotar;80;of McKean Avenue;Charleroi;died Friday;June 24;1994;at 7:20 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mr.Drotar was born Dec.15;1913;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late Steve and Mary Varga Drotar. He was a retired carpenter;having worked in several area coal mines. Mr.Drotar had been a resident of Charleroi since 1977;having formerly lived in Belle Vernon and Pricedale. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Mr.Drotar was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. He had never married. He is survived by one brother;Joseph Drotar of Tucson;Ariz. Friends will be received Monday from 10 a.m.to noon in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday at noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is handling arrangements.
