Sylvia M. Fleming, 87, of Rostraver Township, died Friday, June 5, 2026. Born in Pittsburgh on Nov. 29, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Violet Waddington Byers. Sylvia was a member of Madison United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being outside and sitting on her patio, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Tim Fleming (Krissi Sprowls); son-in-law, Louis Pollacci; grandchildren, Sallie (Clint) Lawson and Seth (Kayla) Pollacci; great-grandchildren, Clinton Lawson, Christian Lawson, Tristen Smith, Malia Pollacci and Colson Pollacci; and sister, Sara (Ted) Connolly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry “Ritty” Fleming; daughter, Tamie Pollacci; and brother, Kenny Byers. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www. jamesstumpfuneralhome. com, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Bob Green officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
