Obituary

Linda L. Glasser, 69, of Fairhope, formerly of Star Junction, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at her home. A daughter of the late Emory and June Rogers Rushford, she was born in Marquette, Mich., on Jan. 1, 1945. Linda was employed as a clerk at the Belle Vernon Walmart. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dennis W. Glasser; a son, Dennis J. Glasser of Belle Vernon; two daughters, Laurie A. Rushford of Pittsburgh and Lisa M. Menozzi of Monessen; five grandchildren, Andrew Glasser, Bobbie Ann Glasser, Anthony Menozzi, Shannon Rushford and Toni Kice; three great-grandchildren; and many brothers and sisters. Friends will be received Thursday and Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, http://www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Ron Schermerhorn of Anova Hospice officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
