Lena M.Delzangle;94;of Westmoreland Manor;formerly of Smithton and Monessen;died Saturday;Sept.16;1989;in Westmoreland Manor. She was born May 22;1895;in McKeesport;a daughter of the late Peter and Pearl Bonini. She was a member of St.Timothy Roman Catholic Church;Smithton;the Confraternity of Christian Mothers;Catholic Daughters of America;and the Ladies Guild of St.Leonard Roman Catholic Church of Monessen. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Gabriel Delzangle in 1972;three brothers;Frank;Lewis and Ben;and three sisters;Theresa Carcelli;Mary Bonari and Corrine Lupori. Survivors include one son;Edward Delzangle of Honesville;one daughter;Mrs.Harry (Dorothy) Johnston of Smithton;seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at L.L.Barthals Funeral Home Inc.Second St.Smithton. Mass of Chrisian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St.Timothy Roman Catholic Church;Smithton;with Rev.Ed Kretz;pastor;as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
