Stanley W.Dobosh;72;Branthover Street;Belle Vernon;died at Mon Valley Hospital on Monday;Jan.9;1989;at 9:24 a.m. He was born in Washington Township;Fayette County;on July 27;1916;a son of the late Stefan Dobosh and Helen Somosky Dobosh. Mr.Dobosh was also preceded in death by one daughter;Darlene Dobosh;in 1950 and one brother;John Dobosh;in 1979. He was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City;VFW Post 3557 of Fairhope;and UMW Local 6330. Mr.Dobosh is a World War II veteran;who served in the Army;and was a retired coal miner. He is survived by his wife;Frances Paro Dobosh;one son;Stephen of belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.James (Nancy) Berna of Fayette City and Mrs.William (Cynthia) Patterson of North Charleroi;three sisters from Belle Vernon;Mrs.Alvin (Mary) Hazen;Mrs.Floyd (Nellie) Racey and Mrs.Laura Pankiewicz;and 10 grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday until 9:30 a.m.;when a Prayer service will be held at the funeral home;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Fayette City. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
