Alexia Jones, 89, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 20, 2026. A daughter of the late Alex and Mary Sanetrik Delopitro, she was born in Washington, PA on May 9, 1937. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon and the Valley Garden Club. Alexia graduated from Bentleyville High School in 1955 and from the Washington Hospital School of Nursing in 1982. She had been employed as a staff nurse for Washington Hospital for seven years and worked for Albert Gallatin Home Care for twelve years, retiring in 2005. A resident of Belle Vernon since 1996, she had formerly resided in Ontario, PA and Bentleyville. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Heath Kefover of Claysville, a son and daughter-in-law, James and Linda Jones of Canton, GA, two grandchildren, Lauren Jones and Zachary Boyanton and one great-grandson, Forrest Hubbard, all of Canton, GA. Alexia was the last of four siblings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas R. Jones on November 5, 2010. Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Prayers of Transfer will be in the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Sebastion R.C. Church at 10:00 A.M.
