Louise Nichols Doyle,Grindstone,died Monday,April 4,1983 at 8:10 p.m. in the Brownsville General Hospital. She was 60. Mrs. Doyle was born in Washington Twp.on Jan.8,1923,a daughter of the late Anna Glassgow Nichols and James Nichols,who survives and resides in Grindstone. She was a member of the Ladies Auxilary for both the Grindstone American Legion and the Newell Moose Lodge 269. She was a retired waitress. In addition to her father,she is survived by a son,Thomas J.Doyle of Belle Vernon;two daughters,Mrs.Kathleen Morgan of Cleveland,Ohio,and Mrs. Helen Hinds of Crab Orchard,Ky.;15 grandchildren;two great-grandchildren;and a brother,Robert Nichols of Hopwood. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.,Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday until 1 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursay beginning at 1 p.m. with the Rev.C.E.Stollings of the United Methodist Church in Fayette City officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
