Alice C. Davis; of the Belle Vernon Apartments; Belle Vernon; died yesterday at 11.28 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 79.
Mrs. Davis was a member of St. Sebastian’s Church; Belle Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Davis; on Dec. 16; 1970; a son; Charles; in July 1976; and a daughter. Alice Sellaro; in April 1976.
Survivors include three sons; James J. Davis of Belle Vernon R.D. 3; Thomas E Davis of Fayette City and Lawrence R. Davis of Belle Vernon R.D. 1; four daughters Mrs. Marion (Mary) DeRienzo of Fayette City; Mrs. William (Jane) White of Painsville; Ohio; Mrs. John (Geraldine) Nusser of Fairhope; and Mrs. Webster (Nancy) Potridge of Delaware; Ohio; f our brothers; Terrence Dolan of Denbo; John and Joseph Dolan; both of Painsville; and Francis Dolan of Washington; Pa.; three sisters; Mrs. Charles (Jane) Watkins of Brownsvllle; Mrs. Agnes Cross of Washington; Pa.; and Mrs. Rita Colvin of Baltimore; Md.; 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the Leonard J Parzynski Funeral Home; 635 Broad Ave. Belle Vernon today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 1 to 9 p.m. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.at St.Sebastian’s Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
